Career: I'm continuing to enjoy work and am marketing the work to other teams now. Today some managers hinted that my work may have cross team impact which will help me justify getting promoted next March.
Life: My partner quit the new job at a private company and accepted a better offer from a public company. I stopped taking on more stuff around the house and have instead been applying to jobs for him, so I take full credit for connecting him to the company he will join.
Financial: I paid our car insurance renewal and my car's registration fees. My partner paid for tickets and an airbnb for a trip to the east coast next month and will pay for maintenance for both vehicles. I'll sell stocks in my HSA to free up cash with which my partner can pay his medical bills.
Health & wellness: I'm continuing to exercise more and finished a darebee addon program which I had been working through for months. I renewed our costco membership. Usually we eat healthier when I do all the food shopping, and for some reason I feel lazy doing food shopping just for us. At costco I shop for us and sometimes also my sister who I care for alot so that makes me less lazy and makes me stock our house with healthy-ish food. |
