Notes:
Career: I'm still getting my bearings in the new stack and in the meantime I'm gunning for a promotion based on the work I did last year. I'm also keeping in mind that it's not the end of the world if I don't get promoted as I still get paid well for how cushy my job is.

Life: We met some contractors about remodeling 230 sq ft of our house but are getting referred to architects and structural engineers for getting a scope of work. I feel like this is scamming us into spending 5-10K for service we don't need so I'm going to ask around. Feel free to comment with your remodel experiences, we want to move the kitchen to the current dining room and have an open plan layout.

Financial: We had annual reviews at work and I am not happy with my stagnant compensation given that I'm doing better work in the past couple years than I did in the previous couple years. We will be saving up cash so we can pay income taxes and property taxes next month.

Health & wellness: My partner and I are getting healthier slowly but surely. He cooked an eggplant dish for the first time, neither of us had cooked an eggplant dish before. I'm continuing my exercise routine and tried a new dance class for the first time. I'm also happy about daylight savings time giving us more sunlight in the evenings.
