Notes:
Career: I worked with my skip level manager to submit my promotion artifacts and now I'm waiting until the end of the month for the leveling decision since my company puts up unnecessary blocks in this process. I also got my annual bonus. Last year I had gotten a 33k bonus for 12 months of work and this year I got a 34k bonus for 15 months of much harder work. I'm increasingly disillusioned here.

Life: We took a family vacation to CancĂșn for a week and everything was fine until the second last day when my mom and I had a falling out. We were on time for a dinner cruise we'd planned, even though she had wanted to leave the beach 10 mins earlier so that we could be early for the dinner cruise. She was tired from a busy day and used this as an excuse to blame all her tiredness on me, and this is far from the first time this has happened. So I'm not speaking to her until she apologizes for blaming me in public for things I have no control over.

Financial: I sold more company stock; in total I've sold about 14% of my currently vested shares. Next up is to pay property taxes and filing income taxes comes after that.

Health & wellness: I haven't worked out because of vacation but we walked alot every day of the trip so I'm likely healthier now than when I left.
