Career: I got denied promotion and am feeling even more disillusioned with work. Getting promoted means going through a checklist of different types of work, unfortunately I'm missing one type of work because my team doesn't take up those kinds of tasks. So I'm at a fork... either I stay on this team on the off chance that this kind of work comes up, or I switch teams to where I can do this one type of work, or give up on getting internally promoted and look externally.
Life: My mom has not given me sufficient clarity on why she yelled at me in public and I am continuing to not talk to her. My partner has been really supportive about this whole situation which I'm grateful for. And we've met up with lots of friends and family in the past month so also feeling grateful for that.
Financial: My partner paid property tax and filed our income taxes with only a couple questions for me which I appreciate. Next up is paying some medical bills.
Health & wellness: I resumed working out and we're eating healthy. My partner had a health scare so I took him to the emergency room. We still don't know for sure what the health scare was but everything's fine now. |
